Every company should have a "cause" or a way they give back to their community. Here's some of what we've done.
Hurricane Katrina Donations
Denise Harris lost her job and was in a downward spiral. With no money and no prospects, she decided to change her way of thinking. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, a firm believer of what goes around, comes around, she decided to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina by using her free time collecting items to ship to them. She got the local YMCA to allow her to set up a station in the parking lot for drop offs and announced it on the local news stations. With the help of a local fire department, church, and help of her best friend, they loaded 2 semis that transported the collections from Ohio to needy families in Louisiana.
Essence Of Courage
Heaven Essence will donate product received from guest and hostess at the Home Spa Parties "round up and give" to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once a Year Heaven Essence Consultants will deliver spa products received throughout the year from their Hostess and guests at each party, to children in the hospital that have cancer in the form of a Mommy & Me Spa Day. Instead of donating a dollar amount, they have Consultants from all over the United States fly in to donate their time giving children and their parents a spa day at the hospital. The children and their parents will take home all the spa products collected.
